Futures-Essex is a therapeutic alternative provision and mentoring service in Bicknacre for young people experiencing EBSA, anxiety, autism, sensory differences, trauma or other SEND-related barriers to education.
Support may include one-to-one or small-group mentoring, personalised learning, wellbeing activities, creative projects and practical life skills. Part-time alternative provision and EOTAS placements are generally commissioned through schools or local authorities.
Futures-Essex also runs learning and social groups specifically for home educated young people. Families can enquire directly about current sessions, ages, fees and availability.
